Each birdhouse is made to Audobon specifications with a removable clean out base water drain hole and air vents under the eaves. The hole sized for most small nesting birds will prevent predator birds from entering. The moss is added as a convenient source of nesting material.

The roofs are made from recycled shake and the houses are constructed of cedar. The hardware on the Plain Jane style is "scavenged". No two are alike.
